Céline Vipiana founded the French powerhouse in 1945. Since then, it has been acquired by Fashion Conglomerate LVMH - under whom, the brand has seen a significant transformation. Previous creative directors include household names such as the likes of Michael Kors - who has since been replaced by British designer, Phoebe Philo. Philo has flourished in her new role since she begun in October 2008 - spearheading a tireless campaign which has seen Céline transition into a Parisian super brand which oozes chic, minimalism and boldness all at the same time.
